How the daily challenge works
Both secret five-letter words are assigned for you. Everyone gets the same two words and computer opponent that day. Take turns guessing. Each clue tells you how many letters your guess shares with the secret, but not their positions. Guess the exact word to win.

You can play the daily challenge as a guest. Your progress stays in this browser. Sign in to save daily progress to your account. The daily challenge needs an internet connection.
A new puzzle every day
The challenge resets at midnight UTC. That is 8 p.m. in the Eastern United States during daylight saving time and 7 p.m. during standard time. Resume an unfinished challenge before the next reset.
Build a daily streak
Finish on consecutive days to build your streak. Wins and losses both count. Earn awards at 3, 7, 14, and 30 days. Sign in to save streak awards to your profile.
Share your result
Use the result-sharing option after your game to compare with friends without revealing the secret words.
